  1. Partnership information

Budget

Funds distribution overview

We are looking for a partner that provides a 10.596.000€ investment to help to fund the following developments:

Web 3.0 features and IDC Clips

Objectives

Funds to develop, test and launch the web 3.0 features and mechanics into the current gaming platform, as explained in this white paper, and to develop, test and promote IDC Clips.

IDC Clips is a video recording feature that will be included at the IDC Games launcher, for players to record their gameplay and upload it directly into YouTube with our watermark. Upon ending, users can preview and edit the recording before the upload. All the recordings are stored at the user’s clip library.

Budget

Estimated budget required: 3.096.000€

Resources needed

This will require to hire a product manager, a graphic designer, 4 programmers, a QA manager, external testers, legal counselling, financial counselling, and a marketing agency; to rent a new office that hosts the in-house staff, and to fund the promotional campaigns.

Four pc indie games co-ownership

Objectives

We plan to develop or purchase three mid-scale and one high-end free to play indie pc games.

The mid-scale games will be free to play PC games, of the roguelike deckbuilding, couch coop, and shooter (First Person Shooter or Third Person Shooter) genres, respectively.

Mid-scale Indie games have polished graphics, deep gameplay mechanics, and potentially long development cycles; high-end indie games have impressive graphics, a captivating game environment, complex mechanics, and innovative gameplay, and long development cycles. The high end game will be free to play PC game, of the massive multiplayer battle royale genre.

Budget

Estimated budget required for each of the three middle range indie games: 1.500.000€

Estimated budget required for the high-end indie game: 3.000.000€

In both cases, half of the budget will be allocated to achieving the ownership of the indie game, wether by purchasing a game of the same type, category and quality that has already been developed, or by developing it in-house, and the other half will fund user aquisition and engagement via advertising and marketing campaigns, social media management, and promotion (offers, keys, etc.).

Resources needed

When games are self-developed, the budget will be allocated to game design, development, testing, and release. Self development will require to hire a game development team with a game designer, an art director, game artists, programmers, sound engineer, and QA manager. Other costs will be allocated to office rental, localization, testing, hardware and infrastructure, server and hosting, legal and compliance, and game insutance.

IDC Games will adopt the roles of internal producer, managing the development team, and the publisher, managing the distribution and promotion. The games will be released first at it's platform and afterwards at Steam, Epic Games, and Itch.io.
